DLA Star Award-2021 Ceremony

DAILY TIMES 24:  On the occasion of the 10th founding anniversary of the Dance Education Institution Dhaka Lolitokola  Academy , a colorful program and DLA Star Award-2021 was held on the 8th floor of the FDC on Wednesday. Apart from teaching dance to the students at the academy, the institute also awarded prizes to Prominent persons who have made special contribution in various fields including cultural activities of the country. Among others who were present on the occasion were Mir Motahar Hasan, CEO of ATN Bangla and Advisor to the Chairman of ATN Bangla, Prem Bambani, Director and Chief Designer of Prems Collection, HM Saif Ali Khan, Managing Director of Global Xplore Pvt Ltd, Zakaria Chowdhury, Chairman of NRB Bank. A total of 53 people received awards in different categories at the event.

Biplob Saha, co-founder of Fashion Designer A Bishwarang, Shahrukh Chowdhury Lina, proprietor of Lina’s Thousand Things, Md. Asaduzzaman Sakal, Producer of Half Stop Down Production House, Director Debashish Biswas, Hero Emon, Heroine Anchal, Shirin Shila, Nijhum Rubina, vocalist Belal Khan, Kazi Shuvo, Don, vocalist Kornia, actor Siddiqur Rahman, choreographer Sohail Rahman, Anisur Rahman Hiru, Ivan Shahriar Sohag and many others received the award. The program was presented by Imtu Ratish and Lavanya.

Azra Mahmood choreographed a gorgeous fashion show on the occasion. The main title sponsor of the event was Hawk Group and Humanities Bangladesh. And as powered by was the premise collection. Makeup partners were Monir’s Beauty Lounge and photography partner Dreams Event. ATNBangla was the overall collaborator of the event. Saiful Islam, Managing Director, Dhaka Lalit Kala Academy, said, “I would like to thank ATN Bangla Chairman Mahfuzur Rahman. Meanwhile, I would like to thank all those who have co-sponsored the event, including the title sponsor Hawk Group and Humanities Bangladesh, powered by Prem’s Collection. Ten years into my organization. The main objective of the event was to honor those who have been closely associated with the Dhaka Academy of Fine Arts from the beginning till today.
