
Start new movement, resign immediately: Fakhrul to government
Daily Times 24: Claiming that BNP has started a new movement through the march, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, through this I want to tell the government to resign immediately. Otherwise you will have to leave burdened. There will be no escape.
He said these things in a speech given before the padayatra program on the road in front of Subastu Market in Badda in the capital on Saturday at 2 pm.
The program of the first day of the four-day march in the capital to demand the restoration of democracy and 10 points began at 2.30 pm today. It is scheduled to end up to Abul Hotel in Malibagh.
Mirza Fakhrul said, I will force this monstrous government to leave with the people through this silent march in Dhaka.
Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP convenor Amanullah Aman presided over and general secretary Aminul Haque also spoke in the BNP standing committee member Dr. Abdul Moin Khan.
BNP leader Nazim Uddin Alam, Mir Sarfat Ali Sapu, Saiful Alam Nirav, Abdul Monayem Munna, Tabith Awal and others were present on the occasion.
On the initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP, a march will be held on January 31 from Gabtali to Mirpur Roundabout No. 10 via Mazar Road. Similarly, Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP will march from Jatrabari to Shyampur on January 30 and from Mugda to Malibagh on February 1. Each padayatra will start at 2 pm.
