Fire at Bangabazar market

Dailytimes24: A massive fire erupted at the Bangabazar market of the capital city this morning (April 4). However, the source of the fire could not be known yet.

Forty-three firefighting units are working to douse the blaze. Meanwhile the number of fire accidents in Bangladesh has increased four times over the last two decades as the country’s urban areas are expanding without basic infrastructure like fire stations.
